TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Terms of Sale
2. Pickup Policy / Pickup Agreement
3. Limited Warranty
4. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
5. Assembly & Safety Disclaimer
6. Privacy Policy
1. Terms of Sale
Products are sold as disassembled modular container kits for customer pickup and customer assembly. Unless expressly stated in writing on the product page or order invoice, the Product is not sold as an installed structure, habitable dwelling, code-approved building, engineered building system, or finished construction project. Customer is solely responsible for determining whether the Product is suitable for Customer’s intended use and for obtaining all permits, zoning approvals, engineering approvals, inspections, site preparation, foundations, anchoring, utilities, and code compliance required by applicable law.
2. Pickup Policy / Pickup Agreement
Pickup is by appointment only. Customer must bring a suitable vehicle or trailer, proper tie-downs, straps, blocking, and any required assistance or equipment. Customer is responsible for verifying that Customer’s vehicle, trailer, hitch, tires, tie-downs, and load rating are appropriate for the Product. Customer or Customer’s authorized agent must present valid identification and order confirmation at pickup. Seller may refuse pickup if Seller reasonably determines that the pickup vehicle, trailer, equipment, or loading conditions are unsafe. Title and risk of loss transfer to Customer when the Product is loaded onto Customer’s vehicle or trailer, or when Customer or Customer’s agent otherwise takes possession of the Product, whichever occurs first.
3. Limited Warranty
A storage container warranty should provide clarity, not confusion. Flatbox units are built using galvanized/galvalume steel panels with powder-coated finishes, stainless locking systems, and engineered hardware. Warranty coverage is designed to protect structural integrity under normal operational use.
While warranty specifics are defined at time of purchase, coverage generally addresses:
Structural integrity of steel panels and frame
Manufacturing defects in materials
Door and locking hardware performance under normal use
Weather resistance under proper installation conditions
Warranty applies when units are:
Properly installed on stable, level bases
Maintained according to reasonable inspection practices
Used for intended storage, kiosk, or office functions
Warranty duration and specific coverage details are provided at purchase and may vary by model or deployment program.
Professional-grade warranty policies across the industry typically exclude:
Cosmetic wear and minor surface abrasions
Damage caused by improper installation or unstable ground conditions
Unauthorized modifications or structural alterations
Environmental damage from flooding or chemical exposure
Impact damage from vehicles or heavy equipment
Normal wear and tear over time
The goal of clarity is not limitation — it is alignment. Warranty protects manufacturing integrity, not misuse.
4. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Stock / standard kits
Unassembled, unused, unmodified standard Products may be returned within 7 days after pickup only with prior written return authorization. Customer is responsible for return transportation, safe loading, and any loss or damage during return transport. Approved returns are subject to inspection and a 25% restocking fee.
Situation policy
Cancel before pickup, standard item Full refund if canceled before order is staged or within 24 hours
Cancel after order is staged Refund minus 15% staging/restocking fee
No-show pickup One free reschedule; storage fees after 7 days
Return after pickup 7–14 days, unused/unassembled only
Custom orders Non-refundable once production/modification begins
Special-order accessories Non-refundable unless defective
Defective item Repair, replacement, or refund under warranty
Custom orders
Customs, made-to-order, modified, discounted, clearance, used, assembled, partially assembled, damaged-after-pickup, or altered Products are final sale and not eligible for return except as required by law or covered by the Limited Warranty.
Refund timing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after Seller receives and inspects the returned Product. Original transaction fees, pickup preparation fees, storage fees, and loading fees may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
Refund and return rules vary by state, and many states focus heavily on whether the policy was clearly disclosed before purchase. The safe approach is to display the policy on the product page, at checkout, in the order confirmation, and at pickup.
Cancellations, pickup deadlines, and storage fees
Customer must pick up the Product within 21 days after receiving pickup-ready notice. If Customer does not pick up within that period, Seller may charge storage fees of $25 per day. If Customer fails to pick up within 45 days after notice, Seller may cancel the order, retain reasonable storage, handling, and restocking fees, and refund any remaining balance to the original payment method.
5. Assembly & Safety Disclaimer
Customer is solely responsible for assembly, installation, site preparation, foundation, anchoring, leveling, sealing, weatherproofing, and all safety precautions. Assembly may require multiple adults, lifting equipment, PPE, tools, and qualified contractors. Customer assumes all risks associated with transport, unloading, assembly, installation, modification, and use after pickup. Failure to follow the assembly instructions, product specifications, load limits, anchoring requirements, or safety warnings may result in injury, property damage, product failure, and voiding of warranty coverage. Seller is not responsible for damage, injury, loss, code violations, fines, permit denials, or failed inspections caused by improper transport, unloading, assembly, installation, anchoring, modification, site conditions, or use of the Product for an unintended purpose.
